Creative Marketing is a unique specialization that will prepare you for a wide range of creative and creative-managerial professions. Already during your studies, you will acquire knowledge and skills that graduates of Czech universities and colleges significantly lack when entering advertising and media operations. You will get the opportunity to develop your talent and apply your originality, but you will also learn to align your ideas with a client’s requirements and implement them in accordance with other team members. Yes, the creative industry is still looking for strong personalities willing to experiment and break stereotypes, but if you do not learn to collaborate and communicate, you have no chance.

During your studies you will develop your knowledge and skills in various creative disciplines (graphics, photography, audio-vision, 3D animation, creative writing), but at the same time you will learn to apply these skills within a specific assignment. You will get an overview of current trends in marketing communications, you will get acquainted with important advertising campaigns. You will learn to develop your creative thinking and direct it to create effective communication in online and offline media. Basic orientation in the social science disciplines and mastery of communication tools will give you confidence in any creative and managerial profession, because in the field of creative industry, it is already a must today. Extended lectures of English language will ensure your placement in multinational companies.
During the study, the main emphasis is placed on creative disciplines (participation in client projects in the field of making a creative concept) and creative thinking. In this specialization, however, we also remember the fact that even a good creative person must have a basic overview of proper order planning and the financial value of his or her work.
Control of marketing tools
During the study, great emphasis is placed on mastering marketing tools in the context of commercial communication. Students will first get familiarized with the principles of operation of small and large companies and with various areas of the creative industry and complete an introduction to online marketing and brand theory. Within the sociological, psychological and historical disciplines, the students will consolidate their existing knowledge and learn to develop and use it in the operation of media and advertising. Right from the first year, they will start strengthening their communication and presentation skills. In the workshop of creative thinking, they will learn to perceive seemingly isolated phenomena in context, look at problems from different angles, generate and develop ideas and express their thoughts, reveal manipulations, but also use manipulative techniques.
Mechanisms of creative thinking
Students will learn the basics of brand management and brand building. They gain awareness of the mechanisms of creative thinking and practically try the procedures of various creative professions in the studio/workshop: they can profile in the field of graphic design, photography, audiovision, copywriting, gamedesign, 3D animation and visual effects or on-line. They will get acquainted with tools for market research and consumer behavior. Students will gain an overview of social networks (Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.) and their use in performance advertising and brand building. They will try production work in various areas of the creative industry, learn everything they need to know about the implementation of the communication campaign and learn how to lead a team.
Students continue in studio lectures of their choice. They will get acquainted with tools for market research and consumer behavior. They will get acquainted with the rules of customer care in the digital environment and the specifics of advertising systems of individual media platforms. In addition to working on their bachelor’s thesis, they will prepare their portfolio and startup. In the third year, active cooperation with a selected sector of the creative industry is expected.
